Completed in 2010, this is an amazingly detailed piece that perfectly captures the breathtaking beauty of Beavertail State Park in Jamestown, Rhode Island.
Here a giant wave rises from the deep, its blue-green glory capped with white, ready to crash like thunder in the shallows. In the foreground is a rich tapestry of craggy rocks. These orange tinged behemoths, scattered across the shore, contain pockets of water and white foam that hiss in defiance, then sigh and retreat to the sea to become the next wave.
