Blue Woman Pastel Painting
22 ” x 28 “, Pastel on Paper, 2002
by Bonnie Lee Turner

This Pastel Painting features a woman cloaked in blue. A gentle breeze is blowing her auburn hair and the sun is shining brightly upon her cheek. As she gazes at the viewer there is a hint of a Mona Lisa smile upon her lips.

Behind her, her fiance is clad in red. He is standing on the steps and surveying the area through a pair of binoculars – on the lookout for new adventures. They are in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, and it is a beautiful Spring day.
