This Seascape Art Painting features the beautiful rocks and water at the Harbor Refuge, or Fishermen’s Memorial State Park, in Narragansett, Rhode Island. I love the play of light upon the rocks; their shape, their form, their texture….the way the warm tones of the sun and the cool hues of the shade compliment each other; The green moss, the blue ocean, the white water – you can almost hear the clap of the breaking waves, the hiss of the settling foam, and the cry of the gulls.
The Harbor Refuge has been my inspiration for many seascape paintings, including ‘Ocean Rocks’, ‘Rocky Shore’, and ‘Point Judith’, just to name a few.
