Yuengling Beer Logo Sign was hand painted on the exterior wall of Fifth Ward Liquors in Newport, Rhode Island. The exterior wall was made of cinder block, and it had a very rough surface. Painting fine lines on a highly textured surface can be difficult and often takes more time than it would otherwise. We applied three coats of primer as a foundation, and that improved the speed and efficiency of our brush work.
The Yuengling Beer Logo was faithfully reproduced inside an 8′ x 6′ white rectangle. The fine lined script lettering looks very sharp, and the colorful, highly detailed eagle came out just right. As a finishing touch, we added a narrow drop shadow to the right and bottom in order to make the signage ‘pop’.
