Pure Bliss Ice Cream Sundae Mural by The Art Of Life

Pure Bliss Ice Cream Sundae Mural, 53′ x 22′, 2023
Bliss Restaurant, 711 Park Street, Attleboro, MA
by Charles C. Clear III and Bonnie Lee Turner

This eye-catching mural was commissioned by New England Ice Cream Corporation as part of a rebranding campaign for Bliss Restaurant in Attleboro. The mural, which we designed to be Fine Art with a Commercial flair, features a giant ice cream sundae with a double Bliss logo set against a cheery blue background. It was painted on an office building that is adjacent to the restaurant.

We made the sundae as big as we possibly could for the space available because we wanted it to be seen at a distance, and we also wanted it to tower over the people who come to take selfies in front of the mural. So far there have been scores of people taking pictures in front of the giant ice cream sundae! For example, we saw a mom taking pictures of her kids as they pretended to “climb” the sundae, while other people pretend to be sitting on the glass rim or taking a bite, and there was one man who took a selfie at just the right distance so that it would look like the sundae was an elaborate ice cream hat!

The Mural has received overwhelming positive feedback, with coverage in local papers, and a lively presence on social media.

When you see one of our finished murals, you can’t imagine the wall looking any other way. But there was a time when the wall did look another way. This picture was taken before we began work on the mural. Compare the before-and-after shots and you’ll see the amazing transformation!
